Book prizes for University Students

Mensa was left a significant bequest by one of its members, Mr Richard Johns. Part of the income from this bequest has been allocated to provide book prizes for members who are studying undergraduate courses at University or other tertiary institutions. Initially, we are considering up to 200 prizes of $100 each.

The purpose of these grants is to encourage Students to join Mensa and to be active in the organisation. We do not encourage people to join solely for the purpose of this prize.

It is hoped that all qualifying applicants will receive the award. However, in the event that the number of applications exceed the prizes, the awards committee reserves the right to use academic results and other criteria in selecting the winners.
